This door is from Malta. Malta is where St. Paul was shipwrecked. We went to Malta and painted watercolor all over the island. What a beautiful place.
Our weekly plein air trip to a painting location took us to Domaine Serene winery, only the serenity was GONE. All of the yellow jackets in the countryside were drunk with wine from the grapes fermenting on the ground. We fought them off for a long time until one of them finally stung the teacher, ME!
Our plein air group, Eye on the Sky, that I lead every summer took a trip to a lynx farm to paint. These 2 Siberian lynx used to be part of a fur farm, but were rescued by a lady with a big heart for cats and other creatures.
